Malad Elementary holds a Grandparent's Day each year and the kids look forward to sharing their projects and a very cute musical program with those grandparents that can make it. And after all that, we get to each school lunch in the cafeteria. Yummy turkey gravy over mashed potatoes, homemade rolls, salad. There's a book fair and a photographer, but I just take my own photos and try to make it out of there without spending an arm and a leg on more books. Don't get me wrong -- I LOVE BOOKS!! But I have a ton here at home on shelves that need reading so I don't think there's need for new ones. This year's special day was in March. Enjoy the pics:)
